Whole Wheat Einkorn Biscuits
These light and flaky biscuits are everything a biscuit should be, but made with einkorn flour in stead of regular flour.

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°.
  2. Mix all the ingredients just until combined. Do not over handle the dough or it will be tough.
  3. Pat out the dough onto a lightly floured surface until about 3/4″ thick.
  4. Use a biscuit cutter to cut the biscuits using a straight up and down motion. Do not twist the biscuit cutter.
  5. Put a little oil (non flavored, such as avocado oil, or more melted butter) into a pie plate. As you cut the biscuits, lay the in the pie plate, flipping them over so both sides have been lightly oiled.
  6. Bake until golden, between 20-30 minutes. Enjoy!
